The 2012 South Shore Sports / Butterfly Table Tennis Championships is a 4-star, USATT sanctioned table tennis tournament organized by the South Bend Table Tennis Club.
Events include Open Singles, Open Doubles, Hard Bat Open RR, 40 & Over RR, 50 & Over RR, U-2450 RR, U-2300 RR, U-2200 RR, U-2100 RR, U-2000 RR, U-1950 RR, U-1875 RR, U-1750 RR, U-1625, U-1500 RR, U-1350 RR, U-1200, U-1000, U-800, U-2700 Doubles, and U-3400 Doubles. This tournament also features the $5,000 Nate Wasserman Junior Championships. All matches will be 3 out of 5 games, except Open Singles will be 4 out of 7, and the Hard Bat event that will be 2 games out of 3 with games to 21 points.
Butterfly is the official equipment sponsor of the 2012 South Shore Sports / Butterfly Table Tennis Championships and will supply ITTF approved Butterfly table tennis tables, nets, barriers, umpire tables, towel boxes, scoreboards, and ITTF approved 3-star balls.
