PRLog (Press Release) - Sep. 23, 2012 - Pat Hines a lifelong resident announced her candidacy for Petersburg School Board in 4th Ward. She was born, raised and educated in the Petersburg community. Known as a community stakeholder and activist, she has been on the ground working in the community for the past 8 years improving early education, early care and early literacy. These efforts represent the foundations for school readiness and success. It is proven that investments in early childhood programs, provides a $7-$8 dollar public return for each $1 dollar invested.

"I want to be the people's choice as Ward 4 Representative on the Petersburg City Public Schools Board. If elected to serve, I will continue to work to ensure that all children and families have access to needed supports that affords an opportunity for achievement from cradle to career.
