To play a part in Evil Walking Dead Zombies all you have to do is to dress up and act as a zombie. Starting at 5:00 p.m. zombies will be signing up for the film at the Bucoda Fire Department. Participating zombies will be sauntering in character throughout the streets of Bucoda and their performances will be recorded for inclusion in the zombie movie.
What do you get for appearing in the film? Steinford says, “Not only will your performance be included in Evil Dead Walking Zombies, but you will also meet the star scream queen of the film in person who will sign an 8x10 for each participant. Your name will appear in the credits of the film and you will receive a copy of Evil Walking Dead Zombies upon completion.”
According to Steinford, “This event will also act as your screen test. All footage of the September 29th event will be reviewed by the production staff and callbacks will be made based on your performance.”
When queried about whether he thought the World needed, yet, another zombie movie, the Director says, “This is not just another zombie film. The town that is the focal point of the film is actually built on the bodies of evil, evildoers, and victims of evil that was practiced here in the past.”
Caleb Simpson is the research director of the project and is also working on the script. He says, “This town is truly a Pacific Northwest haunt location.” Although he’s reluctant to reveal many of the details prior to the release of the film, he does disclose, “Evil Walking Dead Zombies will be based on true wicked past events. Of course we’re going to spin-it-out as a fictionalized resurrecting of the facts, as the participants come back to life and exact their revenge on the living.”
Steinford says, “We’re using the moniker, ‘Zombie,’ freely, even though the zombies in our film are not actually zombies.” He explains, “The victims and those that have previously died that come back to life are more closely related to what we think of as zombies, but all the former purveyors of evil are resurrected as high-functioning undead, which allows for a much more unique entertainment value.”
Simpson interjects, “That adds an incredible value to this project, because if you’re interested in researching Pacific Northwest hauntings or paranormal activity in Washington State, you will see the benefits of all my hard work, and you can continue to investigate the rest on your own.”
