LEADERSHIP CONNECTIONS REBRANDS ITSELF AS “EMERGE”

Tarrytown, New York (September 21, 2012) – Leadership Connections today announced a new name and brand identity for its unique leadership development and executive coaching business.  The consulting firm will begin operating under the new name Emerge effective immediately.  Along with the adoption of its new brand, tagline and logo, Emerge has simultaneously launched a new website www.emerge-newyork.com.  Emerge provides life-changing leadership and team development programs to companies in the New York Metro area and beyond.

For more than four years, the firm has taught organizations how to address and find permanent solutions to the recurring personnel issues that plague companies worldwide.  It helps employers avoid issues that cost organizations valuable time, money and energy – by focusing on the notoriously hard-to-train skills which bring out the best in people.

Emerge’s leadership development philosophy is based on three critical and often neglected areas:

•   Emotional Intelligence (EQ), which centers on self-awareness and building and maintaining mutual trust that allows teams to operate more profitably
•   Intelligent Communication, which teaches how to avoid miscommunication and is critical to building strong relationships
•   Team Bonding, which offers tools to analyze the root causes of conflict and resolve it effectively

These skills are taught in unique, interactive, engaging workshops that allow participants to practice the principles immediately and effectively.

“Emerge’s rebranding represents a natural evolution for us, said co-founder Elizabeth Carey.  “When our clients work with us, the results they are seeking – increased profitability, efficiency and passion and excitement in their workplaces – naturally emerge.  So, it made perfect sense to adopt Emerge as our company name to better communicate our value proposition.”

“Our new tagline, ‘Bringing out the best in people’ – embodies Emerge’s mission statement, and our new logo represents the importance that teamwork plays in being successful,” according to Carey.

Emerge works with a number of fast-growing organizations across the region, including Heineken USA, Pernod Ricard, Sabra Dipping Company, Bay Point Schools and Maxx Properties.
