Once Report Launch has the user’s required credentials, the solution will contact the BusinessObjects server, authenticate the user, and retrieve only the reports that user can access. The SalesForce.com administrator can quickly make SalesForce.com tabs and dashboard mash ups for end users. By creating new “Custom Web Tabs” in SalesForce.com’s administrative interface and using a simple HTTP URL syntax, the SalesForce.com administrator may integrate single reports , web parts , entire report lists and dashboard views.
