Dataföreningen Kompetens has also begun evaluating Iasa Global’s training and certification programs in preparation for integrating the curriculum in its existing master training for IT architects starting in the Spring of 2013.
“We have experienced an increased demand for internationally viable certifications,”
In recent rankings by World Economic Forum and W3C, Sweden is the number one country when it comes to adopting information technology – driving growth, competence and competitiveness.
“The demand for IT professionals is extremely high despite the financial crisis in Europe. Innovative Swedish companies are therefore reaching out to international partners for joint ventures in development projects – hence the need for global certification programs,” said Sandberg.
“The Iasa Sweden chapter has been on a mission for many years to serve the professional IT architect community. We believe the new training program in collaboration with the Swedish Computer Society is the perfect combination of content, international certification and local presence,” said Daniel Akenine, chairman of Iasa Global’s Swedish chapter.
