The Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington has launched a series of food and drink themed evenings, kicking off with a Chocolate Extravaganza on Thursday 4th October in its Park Terrace Restaurant.
In celebration of National Chocolate Week (8-14th October), guests to the special event will enjoy chocolate cocktails on arrival before getting to sample an array of luxury chocolates, including Belgium, Valrhona and Cacao Barry in the Private Dining area. The evening concludes with a special chocolate inspired dessert menu served in the restaurant, overlooking Kensington Garden.
Created by Executive Head Chef Steve Munkley and his talented team of pastry chefs, desserts include ‘Hot Chocolate Pot with a warm Bitter Chocolate Cherry Bakewell’ and ‘Milk Chocolate Parfait, Scottish Raspberry and Chocolate Macaroons’, which will also be added to the dinner menu for diners to enjoy in Park Terrace restaurant between 8 - 14th October.
The event will take place on Thursday 4th October from 6.30pm to 8.30pm and is priced at £30 per person – for a maximum of 12 to 30 guests. Reservations should be made in advance of 2nd October with full pre-payment.
Plans are also in place for a cocktail tasting evening to be hosted at the hotel in December, followed by an English wine event in June of next year.
