Lovelier begins as Thomas Fernal, a college freshman, picks up a mysterious hitchhiker on his way to a dance. What he doesn't know just might kill him and as the story unfolds Thomas is caught in a race against time to figure out the secrets behind this mysterious stranger, before it destroys them both.
