ARISE Foundation conducting Life Skills Training in Palm Beach Gardens, FL and Washington DC for those that work with at-risk populations and incarcerated youth.
Palm Beach Gardens , FL – The nonprofit ARISE Foundation is conducting the evidence based weeklong Life Skills training workshop September 17-22 at the Seacoast National Bank Headquarters at 3001 PGA Blvd, 2nd floor conference room. The training will take place from 8:30 to 4:30 each day. Staff working with at-risk populations in a variety of settings will take part in this Master Life Skills training in order to become ARISE Certified Master Life Skills Trainers.
Washington, DC– ARISE will also be conducting its statistically proven two-day Life Skills Certification Training for juvenile justice and probation staff September 20-21. This training will take place from 8:30 AM to 4:30 at One Judiciary Square, room 844. This intensive training session teaches participants working with troubled youth in juvenile lockdown, alternative schools, on probation and those in reentry programs how to conduct ARISE interactive group sessions with the at risk youth in their care.
Since 1986, ARISE has developed and published unique Life Skills curricula and staff training programs. The curricula are specially designed to educate at-risk, emotionally disturbed and incarcerated youth. ARISE is also utilized as a powerful prevention tool for teenagers and young adults. It has been successfully used for decades by alternative schools, Boys and Girls clubs. schools, police departments, Superior Court Probation Officers, countless organizations and secure juvenile and adult correctional facilities.
