Lancaster Chamber of Commerce hosts 1st Annual Taste of Lancaster and Business Expo

Sept. 20, 2012 - PRLog -- LANCASTER CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND CITY OF LANCASTER HOST 1ST ANNUAL TASTE OF LANCASTER AND BUSINESS EXPO, NOV. 17 FROM11 A.M. TO 3:30 P.M.

There will be food, fun and festivities for families in and around the city of Lancaster as they gather for the first annual Taste of Lancaster and Business Expo on Nov. 17 at Grand Hall Banquet Facility, 1700 Veterans Memorial Parkway, Lancaster, TX 75134 from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Tickets are $8 general admission (ages 18-59) and $5 for ages 4-18, show ID for school aged and also for SENIORS 60+. $25 Group Pass for 5 tickets. Mail a check to the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce, 103 N. Main, Lancaster, TX 75134. Fundraising opportunities are available for organizations and groups.

Hosted by the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce, Lancaster Independent School District, the City of Lancaster and In The Door Advertising & Marketing Firm, the Taste of Lancaster and Business Expo will host local restaurants in and around the city of Lancaster.

Title sponsors include Cedar Valley Community College and Windsor Gardens. Gold Sponsors include State Farm Agent Casandra Preston, Neighborhood Credit Union, Rapid State Inspections, Cafe Raaz and the The BLI Group, LLC. Hosting restaurants include Bienvenidos Mexican Restaurant, Cafe Raaz, Classic Cup Café, Grandy's, Lab Truck, Cajun Food, Oliver's Fabulous Foods.

There will be gift certificates and door prizes!

This event has something for everyone including the seniors of Lancaster with a Senior Citizens & Friends Fellowship time from 11 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Seniors 60+ and their companions will have a first look at local businesses and free samples.

This inaugural event is to promote awareness and encourage support of Lancaster’s businesses and restaurants to the citizens of Lancaster and the surrounding communities to “Shop Lancaster First.”
