The classes at this Middlesex County beauty school allow students to receive individualized attention and reach their full potential through small class sizes. The students are trained in advanced Redken-infused styling, cutting and color techniques, Dermalogica Esthetics, and nail care including anatomy and physiology, business strategies, and communication skills.
Students at The Salon Professional Academy of NJ gain a competitive edge by studying and working in the real-world salon that becomes their classroom. The Salon Professional Academy offers customary salon services that students perform alongside a Redken-trained advisor.
After completing the cosmetology program, graduates are prepared for the State Board Exam required to obtain a cosmetology license. The Middlesex County cosmetology school also gives out $22,500 in scholarships and provides job placement assistance with salons and spas. The Salon Professional Academy primes students for a career in many aspects of cosmetology including hair styling, skincare, business management and guest services.
Students who are already enrolled at The Salon Professional Academy will have the opportunity to apply for many scholarships. The Salon Professional Academy also offers a refresher course for students who fail the state board exam and/or have all 1200 hours completed from a school and 3 years or more have passed by.
