Live events and marcomms specialist WRG proves it’s sustainable

Sept. 20, 2012 - PRLog -- A UK based international live events and marketing agency is celebrating further industry acknowledgment of its commitment to continual improvement and reducing its environmental impact.

WRG Creative Communication (WRG) has been awarded the new global sustainability standard for the events industry, ISO 20121.  The award winning business, which, is already ISO 9001 approved, provides creative live communication services globally and is one of the first UK companies to be certified to the new international sustainability standard.  

ISO 20121 sets out the building blocks of a sustainability management system that helps the business to act in a socially responsible manner, reducing its environmental impact in both day-to-day business as well as on the many projects it designs and manages for its clients.

WRG’s Chairman, Mark Wallace said, “Clients are now demanding strong environmental credentials of their agencies, that match their own corporate and social responsibility programs.

The news comes on the back of its recent purchase of rival event company Canyon which further bolstered its creative offering.
