In tonight’s CBS Evening News (Politics, online), they did a current day view of an electoral vote simulation. The results clearly has Obama as our next President with 332 electoral votes and Romney with 206. We all know the electoral is the deciding power. This scares me a bit. While I realize that the current horrible state of our economy is not something that could be pinned on Obama alone – but I can’t help but believe Mr. Obama might have done some things differently. Frankly, I don’t know why I’m being so gentle on the guy, I disagree with many of his policies but what bothers me the most is the fact that he can’t say the Pledge of Allegiance. This doesn’t even make sense. I won’t harp on it, I will say that I can’t respect a man in that position who doesn’t radiate patriotism and Obama does not.
Now lets look at ole Mitt Romney – here’s a guy that just exudes charm, wit and sex appeal – hahaha, (just kidding). I’m sure Mitt has some strong qualities, I just don’t know what they are. I disagree with his policies every bit as much as I do with Obama’s. I’m afraid of what Mitt might do to this country, like put us in worse shape or just as bad. I considered Romney for quite a while but only to vote Obama out. Then, I listened to him and read his speeches. Now I don’t know what to do. I registered to vote of course but wow, what a dilemma. I’m so fed up with Obama that I’m still watching Romney closely – and unfortunately I’m not impressed at all. I think it’s hard to judge him as much as Obama since he hasn’t had the opportunity to prove himself like President Hussein has.
