“Long Stratton is a great place to open a bricks-and-mortar shop within the health and beauty sector” said Mr Eastmead, “with so many great businesses already thriving in the town, a significant number of people are prepared to travel into the area for their services”.
Mr Eastmead’s business, The Complete Man, has already been trading online for over 5 years.
“A bricks-and-mortar store is a lot different to online sales, however many customers inquire where they can look at our products in the flesh; this is the ideal place for that”.
The Complete Man is situated at Shop 2 of Queen’s House along the main road. Shop 1 is occupied by Mandy Jean: Make-Up & Body Artistry. Mandy Jean Jordan’s business has been operating online via her Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/
Both companies complement each other well, “I’m very glad that we are opening similar, related business side-by-side, as it will work to both our advantages” said Miss Jordan, “the grooming products sold by The Complete Man completely cooperate with the exclusive make-up products sold by Mandy Jean: Make-Up & Body Artistry”.
Despite the number of similar businesses within the area, the pair are unperturbed,
“The Complete Man (http://www.thecompleteman.co.uk) stocks premium wet shaving and male grooming products such as badger brushes, shaving creams, soaps, safety and cut-throat razors. There are no other specialist stores within the local area for the hobbyist shaver” said George Eastmead, “Mandy’s business is also in a niche market as it offers theatrical, special-effect and motion-picture make-up alongside more traditional bridal, prom and fashion make-up services”.
The two businesses are expected to open mid-October at Queen’s House, The Street, Long Stratton.
