The famous Malibu is a mid-size sedan equipped with a 2.4L four-cylinder engine (a 3.6L V8 is available as an option) and a six speed automatic transmission. The Malibu Eco can achieve up to 37 mpg highway.
The sporty Sonic is a subcompact available in both a sedan and hatchback body style. The Sonic comes standard with a 1.4L inline four-cylinder engine and a five speed manual transmission. A turbocharged 1.4L and a 1.8L engine are also available, depending on the trim level. The Sonic can achieve up to 40 mpg highway.
