PRLog - Sep. 19, 2012 - DENVER -- Denver, CO, September 19, 2012- The McDonald Hyundai Hope Foundation will be holding their 2nd Annual Hyundai Hope Golf Tournament on September 24, 2012 at the Blackstone Country Club in Aurora, Colorado. All the proceeds raised will go to help benefiting children who are diagnosed with cancer.
Established by the McDonald Automotive Group near Denver, the McDonald Hyundai Hope Foundation was created to raise funds to help child cancer patience throughout the state of Colorado. Inspired by the efforts of Hope on Wheels, a national effort involving over 800 Hyundai dealers, McDonald Hyundai decided to take their efforts one step further by creating their own non-profit specifically for raising funds for local organizations.
Ambassador Addison Kleinhans was diagnosed with Leukemia in April of 2012 at the age of 5. Last year, the McDonald Hyundai Hope Foundation was able to raise $27,000 to help Addison with treatment costs. This year we are happy to announce that Addison has been cleared of Leukemia and he will be passing down his Ambassadorship to another child diagnosed with cancer.
The tournament will start is a standard 18 hole course. Each golfer will receive a complimentary tee-bag, range balls, and awards at the banquet. There are five different levels of sponsorship available and 100 percent of the proceeds go directly to Children’s Colorado.
