Among others to receive the awards were Chairman of Vardhman Group S.P. Oswal, the managing director of SEL Manufacturing Corporation Neeraj Saluja, Educationist and Vice-Chancellor of Punjab Technical University Rajneesh Arora.
Harman founded WizIQ (pronounced Wiz-IQ) in 2006 as an education technology expert with the goal of helping students connect with teachers online. He is the visionary behind WiziQ’s product and platform strategy, which is focused on creating the best virtual classroom technology to make online teaching and learning easier and affordable.
While studying in the United States, he unveiled WizIQ, for making online teaching and learning more successful among the people and, now he is planning to make the online teaching-learning a success in India. Harman is of the opinion that online teaching is yet to capture the minds of Indians, and he has got plan to do it here.
With Harman’s leadership, WizIQ today is being used by more than 20 lac students and 1.5 lac educators to teach and collaborate from any distance and at any time with the WizIQ Virtual Classroom. More than 50,000 live classes take place through WizIQ each month.
Feeling elated over having been awarded by the LMA, he said the company was already working on making online teaching and learning more famous among the Indians.
