Sept. 19, 2012 - PRLog -- Setting the House In Divine (STHIDOM) distributed a Public Service and Educational Announcement on the internet through email blasts and Face book reminding everyone that the deadline to register and be eligible to vote for the general election is October 9, 2012. There are a few more days to update information if persons have changed precincts or moved from one state to another. Early voting begins on Monday, October 22nd in most states across America

Ministry Director Prophetess Monique Lampkin is encouraging persons to fast and pray as led by the Holy Spirit over the next several weeks, days, and hours that God’s divine will be done and not man’s in the 2012 Election. Only registered voters will have the privilege to elect a President, 435 members of Congress, 33 Senators, 11 Governors and numerous other state officials. Intercession must occur whereas the world is in a critical state due to the bombings that occurred at the USA Embassies on last week.

According to Lampkin, “evil spirits of fear, violence and paranoia is being released in the land by satanic forces. Prayer is also being called for Israel and Jerusalem. The timing of these adverse incidents in the Middle East have evolved during Rosh Hashanah and as we approach Yom Kippur during the Fall Feasts Seasons, which is not only for the Jews, but Gentiles. In addition the west nile virus and even whooping cough is on the increase which is a form of pestilence. There is a shortage of food known as “famine” due to the inclement weather which includes drought, flooding, and earthquakes according to Matthew 24 in the Bible.  Although we will never forget those persons killed on 9/11, we are in a 9-11 emergency state across the world.” Pray that Godly wisdom would be given to government leaders. Next that peace and love would reign in the world; hatred, greed, and idolatry would cease in the name of Jesus Christ the Messiah.

Lampkin is quoted in October 2011 on PR Log stating, “The year of 2012 will be a unique dispensation and election period. We must discern the times like in the bible days of old which are relevant for today, have the wisdom of God only when going to the voter ballot and allow God to bring divine government authority on earth through the effectual fervent prayers of the righteous. As scripture states in Daniel 2:21 "He changes times and seasons; he sets up kings and deposes them. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning."

The ministry had a voter registration drive at its Family Life & Homemaking Class earlier this year back in April where participants were encouraged to register to vote. No candidate, political party, or organization was endorsed or recommended to vote for at this event.

In the bible in the book of Ezra in times of crisis, calamity, war and turmoil the people fasted and prayed with no delay. Many do not know that back in the Bible Days when a fast (corporate) was called by a Godly leader or person in spiritual authority that not even the babes, infants or animals took suck from their mothers breasts or were fed. Simply no one ate food or drank anything including water.  We see examples of this in Ezra 6. In Ezra 8:21-23 "Then I proclaimed a fast ... that we might afflict ourselves before our God, to seek of him a right way for us, and for our little ones, and for all our substance. For I was ashamed to ask the king ... to help us  against the enemy in the way: because we had spoken unto the king, saying, The hand of our god is upon all them for good that seek him ... So we fasted and besought our God for this: and he was entreated of us."

Simply the ministry wants to remind the public and Body of Christ that Election Day is Tuesday, November 6th and to exercise ones rights and privileges by voting whereas it is an honor and privilege.  Persons who were on parole, incarcerated in prison in the past and have completed their requirements on paper are eligible to vote if it has been over 10 years.
