Senior Management Appointments at Headland Capital Partners

PRLog (Press Release) - Sep. 20, 2012 - Hong Kong (September 20, 2012) – Headland Capital Partners Limited (“Headland”) has announced that the appointment of George Raffini as Chairman and Marcus Thompson as Chief Executive Officer, respectively, of the firm.  Mr. Raffini and Mr. Thompson were previously Joint Managing Partners of Headland.  The firm also named Douglas Ng as Senior Partner, Head of Corporate Development, from his prior role of Senior Partner, Investor Relations.

As CEO, Mr. Thompson will assume further responsibility for Headland’s strategic and operational initiatives.  Mr. Raffini’s involvement in respect of Headland’s Investment Committees and fund investment activities will remain unchanged, and he will continue to work closely with Mr. Thompson on firm-focused activities.  Mr. Ng will also take on a broader role within Headland in his new position.

Mr. Raffini commented that he is “most positive about Marcus assuming this wider role given our over 20 years as colleagues and his work in promoting best practices, teamwork and a performance-oriented culture at Headland.”  Mr. Thompson noted his “intention to build on Headland’s successful history by expanding my operational and strategic role in driving Headland’s positioning and prospects.”
