The 10 daily handpicked apps are selected by a small team with experience in the mobile development and marketing fields particularly within the indie mobile industry. The team uses both subjective and objective measures to find the best apps including number of downloads, rankings, ratings, and reviews on factors such as UI design, past price, and gameplay innovation. The selection is focused on iOs apps for now; however, the goal is to expand to Android in the future.
AppDealio also provides a daily newsletter with the newest apps and a ranking system showing which apps are most popular within the site. It is also possible to go through the archive to see older app recommendations, and if you are a developer, you can submit your game for review.
The goal for the startup is to provide apps for users which they would not have found by using the official app stores. Instead there will be a focus on developers with smaller marketing budgets that might have gotten lost in all the new apps coming onto the market despite the quality of their titles.
The recommendations can be found on the website http://appdealio.com and soon it will also be possible to see the selection in an AppDealio iOs app, which is expected to be released within one month for both iPhone and iPad.
