Drivers all over Canada have been eagerly anticipating the release of the 2013 Honda Accord, and that’s no surprise. Perhaps even more exciting than the aesthetic refinements is the debut of Honda’s Earth Dreams Technology in the two available powertrains. This will mark the first North-American experience of Honda’s lauded direct-injected 2.4L four-cylinder engine, as well as a more powerful 3.5L V6. The latter will be the first of Honda’s sedan’s to feature the automaker’s new six-speed automatic transmission.

Technology will also be a strong point. Honda’s Eco Assist system will give drivers feedback designed to promote a more efficient driving style. The vehicle will also feature an ECON mode, which will make the vehicle more efficient with a single button press. Some of the other features include Bluetooth compatibility and safety options such as lane departure and forward collision warnings.
