Each designer presents their own artistic view. Elisa from Lago Garda used innovative eco-friendly leather shaped into laced patterns to create her dresses. She bases the color palette of on an Indian summer. Gessica from Marina di Montemarciano presented a line for a woman who is not afraid to dress her curves or lack of them. Her use of Italian lace and chiffon creates a vintage aura to her looks. Matteo from Ancona took up tailoring techniques to create a half moon dress in black and cream silhouttes. Classe 1991 composed of designers Giada, Francesca and Mena, childhood friends, created classic youthful forms utilizing fabrics such as chiffon and special touches such as pearl adornments. Alfina from Sicily brought her romantic poetic vision with crimson bows and lace to the line.
In conjunction to the design line exhibition, Emporio dei Giovani has teamed up again with artist Emilio Aponte-Sierra who contributed to the performance art piece of the Fashion’s Night Out event. He will be exhibiting “Catwalk” a series of paper mache 3-D art figures. He uses the techniques of interlacing, cutting, rolling and twisting to make each figure in it's own unique form.
