Operation Helmet Named CLASSY Regional Award Winner

Sept. 18, 2012 - PRLog -- The judges’ scores have been tallied and hundreds of thousands of votes have been cast. Operation Helmet was chosen as a Regional Winner in the Most Effective Awareness Campaign category. After weeks of rallying OpHelmet supporters and earning their votes, we have also won over the hearts of the regional judges as well.

About Operation Helmet

Operation Helmet is a nonpartisan, 501(c)3 charitable grassroots effort that provides helmet upgrade kits free of charge to U.S. troops in harm’s way. Operation Helmet depends on tax-deductible donations which can be of any amount and can be designated for a specific military service, a particular unit or an individual troop. For $35 per helmet, added safety and comfort can be provided for a troop. Over 99% of donations go toward helmet kits. There are no salaries or payroll costs deducted and Operation Helmet’s books are available for inspection.
