The young designer has decided to take an independent approach to fund her line and send her to the February runway at New York Fashion Week 2013.
There are rewards for all levels of donations starting at 1 dollar and maxing out at 10,000.
Alex’s work has been featured in a Vogue gallery exhibition, Harper's Bazaar and Fashion Week New York.
The proceeds will go to fund a 15 piece micro collection consisting of hand embroidered and beaded lace veils, gowns, full length skirts, and lingerie, and a new film featuring the designers work.
Alex says about the new collection: “The new collection will be like nothing anyone has ever seen before, and I hope to bring a new voice to the industry…”
The fund raiser will run until Oct 10th at 11:59PM.
