Biz Library Kicks Off 5th Annual ALIGN Client Conference, Largest in Company History

Sept. 18, 2012 - PRLog -- St. Louis – BizLibrary began its 5th annual ALIGN client conference today at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in downtown St. Louis.  With over 130 attendees, this is the largest conference ever hosted by the leading employee training and development solutions provider. Today’s events include a keynote presentation from Nancy Friedman, the Telephone Doctor, nine breakout sessions with various business professionals and a “Hot on the Red Carpet” cocktail hour hosted by Erin Brown.

“We are extremely excited to start our fifth ALIGN conference,” said BizLibrary President and CEO Dean Pichee. “We’ve seen a number of improvements to this conference over the past five years, specifically in the quality of the overall program, and we’re sure our clients will not only learn a great deal, but truly enjoy themselves.”

After conference registration and a box lunch at the Hyatt, ALIGN begins with the opening keynote presentation by Nancy Friedman, the Telephone Doctor. Friedman will discuss how to provide excellence amid mediocrity, focusing on working smarter, not harder. She is one of America’s most asked back speakers, and her programs are sought out by those who want to raise the bar in customer service as well as in revenue.

Nine breakout sessions will follow the keynote presentation. These sessions will cover a wide array of topics, including custom content, best practices, leadership, performance and social and informal learning.  Presenters for these breakout sessions include Amanda Boyle, Elaine Gwin, Stephen Maule, Rick Michael, Cindy Pascale, Jaimee Hall, Amber Aziza, Rebecca Lockard, Rebecca Ellis and Kevin Pallardy.  

The day concludes with a special event, “Hot on the Red Carpet,” with Erin Brown. Brown, also known as Carol from the Cutting Edge Communications Series, will host the question and answer series while attendees enjoy cocktails, unwinding and networking with other human resources and training professionals.

The ALIGN conference will run until Thursday, September 20th. The next two days’ events include keynote presentations from Lisa Yankowitz, Eve Ash and Erin Brown and breakout sessions with partners and BizLibrary employees. These breakout sessions will allow BizLibrary to introduce many of its new developments, including a streaming video library interface and a performance management system.

Additional special events include a trip to the Cardinals vs. Astros baseball game on Wednesday and the BizLibrary awards luncheon on Thursday. This luncheon, where BizLibrary will proudly recognize the 2012 BizLibrary Award Winners, will conclude ALIGN 2012.
