St. Louis Chapter IAAP presents “A Behind-the-Scenes Look at the Blues” by Bob Plager

Sept. 18, 2012 - PRLog -- The St. Louis Chapter IAAP is proud to have Bob Plager, former player with the St. Louis Blues present, “A Behind-the-Scenes Look at the Blues” and nobody bleeds Blue like Bob Plager.  Bob Plager joined the St. Louis Blues in their inaugural season in 1967-68 as a player and has served various capacities within the organization.  Plager retired from on-ice action in 1978 to move into the ranks of the Blues management.  Over the years since then, he has performed just about every task except to drive the Zamboni although he joked that that job may come soon.  He currently works in the Blues’ community relations department and also is an analyst on KMOX during Blues home games and on post-game shows.  
   
The evening will also feature special recognition for education milestones including a special recognition award for one of their Executive Advisory members, Joe Clote.  Mr. Clote is the publisher of Missouri Meetings & Events magazine.
