Bluebeard's Castle Resort Unveils New Observation Decks

Sept. 18, 2012 - PRLog -- Bluebeard’s Castle Resort, professionally managed by SPM Resorts, recently unveiled two new observation decks providing picturesque views of the cruise ship dock in the bay below the resort, as well as the mega yacht marina of the Yacht Haven Grand Marina Complex. Already well-known for their prime location atop Bluebeard’s Hill in St. Thomas, resort guests and other St. Thomas visitors frequently flock to this location to take in the sights of the island around them.

“The observation decks have been very well received,” said Mikhail Shamkin, general manager for Bluebeard’s Castle resort. “We have already had three wedding receptions on the upper observation deck. In addition to our observation decks, our prime location affords visitors the most scenic views of downtown Charlotte Amalie on one side of the property, and overlooks the water on the other. You can’t get better views of the sunsets than right here at Bluebeard’s Castle.”

The new observation decks are an added bonus to the property, which recently underwent a multi-million dollar renovation. Renovations included an overhaul of the lobby complete with new furniture, fixtures, fresh paint and check-in pods. The rooms included in the renovations received updated kitchens, bathrooms, furniture, accessories, flat panel televisions, bedding and more. All rooms on property received state-of-the-art RFID Ving Card door locks and in-room safes to further enhance guest security. The courtyard areas have been newly landscaped and new outdoor furniture installed.
