Follow on Google News | Dish TV introduces Recharge through IMPSDish TV India launched recharge option through Interbank Mobile Payment Service, initiative through National payment corporations of India and was incorporated by untiring efforts of Reserve Bank of India and Indian Banks Association.
By: Dish TV India 18th September’12: Presently customers can utilize the IMPS service through four platforms – Mobile Applications and very soon will be on Short Message Service (SMS), Dish TV website and Interactive voice response (IVR). All the customer has to do is, feed in the required information in any of the four platform and the recharge amount will be added to their existing account instantly. IMPS, is India,s first instant, real time, 24*7 fund transfer facility which will help our customers to recharge their account within a span of few seconds available through easy platform. Interbank Mobile Payment Service or IMPS, a platform created by NPCI in collaboration with 50 member-banks, enables payment services such as online ticket booking, mobile/DTH recharge, among others. The customers will need to register with the IMPS. At present, seven of the 50 memberbanks of NPCI permit merchant payment service. All, the customer has to do is go to Merchant Interbank Mobile Payment Service (IMPS) section on your Mobile Banking application, using any of the four platform, type in the required information which is Merchant Mobile: 1111222222, Merchant MMID: 9532532, Amount: Rs. XX/- , Payment Reference: (11-digit VC no.) and MPIN: XXXX. The required recharged amount will be transferred to the customer account within a span of 15-20 seconds.
