LeaveWizard makes staff leave planning easier than ever

Sept. 18, 2012 - PRLog -- LeaveWizard has recently introduced a new setup wizard that makes your leave management a great deal easier than it was ever before.

Here's a brief summary of the new Setup Wizard.

Welcome page

The Welcome page of the set up wizard is available as the first page newly registered customers see and can also be accessed by clicking the "Set up your company link" from the administrator's dashboard. It lists the most common questions that one have to answer when setting up and on providing the answers the system does the set up automatically.

Organisation and Users

On this page an administrator can create and manage locations, workgroups and also  employees. Drag and drop and in context help make this page easy to understand and use.

Approvers

Setting up approvers becomes increasingly difficult with the number of employees going up. This set up screen presents you with simple expandable lists that let you configure approvers by simply dragging and dropping items in the right place. Secondary approvers and team leaders can also be controlled from here. Using this new functionality drastically shortens the time an administrator would require to set up approvers or modify the assignments when needed.

Leave Types and Allowances

The leave types in LeaveWizard are very rich on options and flexible and can handle complicated business scenarios. This is why they provide good out of the box fit for more and more customers. This set-up page however makes it simple to configure leave types and allowances with just a few clicks.

Public Holidays

With the introduction of location based public holidays several months ago managing public holiday calendars the old way has become not so easy. This simple set up page provides plain view of all  calendars and the events in each calendar. An administrator can quickly set up and manage public holidays for their organisation including for multiple locations.

On this final summary page LeaveWizard offers links to more advanced features like work patterns, restrictions and visibility work groups and room booking. A small help icon provides in context explanation of the more advanced topics. Clicking the green button takes you back to the Dashboard.
