Beach Realty Group Sponsored Team Wins!

Sept. 18, 2012 - PRLog -- The 28th annual Mark Sloan Cancer Memorial Golf Tournament teed off on August 25th at the Legends Golf & Resort, with 36 teams in participation.  The tournament honors Mark Sloan, a Myrtle Beach Realtor who died of melanoma cancer in 1983.  The association started this tournament in Sloan's memory "and with the spirit of community service that he so graciously exemplified."  This event is highly anticipated every year, with proceeds going to cancer research and the Realtors Assistance Fund Trust, which helps local Realtors dealing with financial hardship because of a severe illness.

Beach Realty Group sponsored the winning team this year, locking in not only beautiful trophies and great prizes, but also 365 days of highly sought after bragging rights!  Duke Melton was the teams' anchor, with his consistently outstanding play.  Vince Kelley is a long ball hitter, insuring prime ball placement on every fairway.   Jonathan Talbot always puts in a solid score, and Jeff Casterline rode the cart better than anyone!
