-- For several years, ABATE of Wisconsin has had a presence at the Tomahawk Fall Ride & Rally teaching fellow motorcyclists about how to fight for their freedoms of the road. With perfect motorcycling weather this year, the 31st annual Tomahawk Fall Ride saw an increase in attendance which the ABATE of Wisconsin booth benefited from. Recent increases in legislation and regulations aimed at restricting motorcyclists have stoked the fires of motorcycle-rights advocates. ABATE of Wisconsin District 7 Director Jim Miller stated that this was one of the best years yet at the Tomahawk Fall Ride. "There was a lot of interest in ABATE of Wisconsin this year and we signed up several new members", he said.
ABATE of Wisconsin, Inc. which was founded in 1974 is a motorcycle rights and safety organization dedicated to "Freedom of the Road." ABATE of Wisconsin's goal is to give the motorcyclists of Wisconsin a strong, united voice with regard to their future, their way of life, their safety, and their legal rights as motorcyclists and citizens.
