The Maynard is set Fayre for weddings this weekend

Sept. 17, 2012 - PRLog -- Award-winning Peak District hotel and restaurant, The Maynard in Grindleford, will be hosting its much anticipated Autumn Wedding Fayre this weekend on Sunday 23 September between 11.30 am and 4.00 pm. The event is free to attend and the first 100 brides will also receive free goodie bags, so it’s an event not to miss.

“For brides to be and wedding suppliers alike, the Wedding Fayres at The Maynard have become a red letter day in everyone’s calendar and it’s still not too late to come along,” said Wedding Co-ordinator, Kate Lloyd. “Planning a wedding can be stressful and our September Fayre is a chance for couples to consider all the options open to them. Some of the region’s best wedding suppliers will be in attendance, so it’s sure to be another great day!”

In addition to free entry, The Maynard’s team of wedding planners will be on hand to offer their wedding day advice to ensure brides and grooms have the perfect day. If you are looking for a potential venue, The Maynard’s Wedding Fayre provides the perfect opportunity to plan every detail of your big day. The cream of the region’s local wedding suppliers including wedding photographers, dress makers and florists will all be showcasing their skills on the day, all bursting with ideas and imagination when it comes to making a wedding as individual as you are.

The Maynard is an ideal wedding venue, boasting panoramic Peak District views and a double AA Rosette restaurant. A new range of wedding packages are available to cater for everyone’s needs, including licensed civil ceremonies and civil partnerships, plus evening and daytime events. Wedding breakfasts for 120 people can be accommodated and evening receptions for up to 250.

“The Wedding Fayre is not an event to miss, even if you have already booked your big day,” explained Kate. “Planning your wedding should be a wonderful time and the Fayre provides an opportunity to ask any last minute questions, but it’s also a great opportunity to bring along your family and friends and get them involved in the fun!”

There will be ample opportunity to take a tour of the hotel to experience how The Maynard and its function rooms can be transformed for the most important day of your life. The Windsor Room will be set for a civil ceremony, while the Ballroom and restaurant will play host to the wedding suppliers on the day.

“We know many couples feel the pressure of arranging a wedding, so our aim is to relieve some of it if we can,” added Kate. “There’s no pressure from us and no hard sell, just a relaxed, friendly atmosphere, where you can speak to everyone and get any advice you need,” she concluded.

All new wedding packages for 2012 and 2013 are now available, including special midweek deals designed with flexibility in mind, allowing everything from the room/s, guest numbers and menus to be tailored to your needs.
