The Identity Theft Workshop will be held on Tuesday, October 2nd at 11:30am at the Crexent Center, located at 27499 Riverview Center in Bonita Springs, FL. Frank Ragonese, Ph.D. (commonly known as “Dr. Frank”) is the founder of Pelican Wealth Advisors, LLC. He has more than 25 years of experience in business and finance, including 10 years as head of Risk Management for one of the largest corporations in the world. “Dr. Frank” founded his own companies and applied his extensive risk management expertise in an effort to help people manage retirement risks in ways which are not tied to large investment houses. “Dr. Frank” has a passion for helping others understand the financial industry, and devotes much of his free time to providing educational workshops such as this.
Beth Schell is a member of the Lee County Sheriff’s Office Crime Prevention Unit and is a certified Crime Prevention Practitioner and Fraud Specialist. Beth is responsible for the operation of the fraud line, which provides an avenue for residents to report incidents such as identity theft, sweepstakes or lottery scams, and credit card fraud. She works closely with Investigators from the Economic Crimes Unit, banking institutions, adult protective services, and family members of senior citizens who have been taken advantage of by scammers. Beth is also a member of the Lee Elder Abuse Prevention Partnership, Florida Crime Prevention Association and the Southwest Florida Bankers Association.
