Content Creation Collective Event Set To Unveil Secrets Behind Social @ Social Media Week London 12

Secrets behind social content revealed at CCC event, Wednesday 26th September 2012

Sept. 17, 2012 - PRLog -- LONDON -- The Content Creation Collective (http://www.meetup.com/Content-Creation/), a group for London’s best writers, editors, bloggers, designers, videographers and other content creators, will hold its next event in association with Social Media Week London on Wednesday 26th September at 6.15pm (http://socialmediaweek.org/schedule/?locale_id=94428#.UEiKKY1lR3d).

Established by digital agency Quad, CCC is a new group for people passionate about content in all its beautiful forms, with events taking place on the majestic HMS President (1918), a permanently moored boat on the Victoria Embankment.
Its second ever event, ‘The secrets behind social content’, is poised to provide an evening of drinks on deck, talks in the ship’s grand ballroom and networking in the captain’s quarters.

Speakers who’ve lived and breathed social content include Girl Lost in the City’s Emma Gannon, whose blog was shortlisted for a 2012 Cosmopolitan Blog Award, and Philip Calvert, award-winning social networking entrepreneur, social media speaker and author. Previous speakers have included Editor Ian Scales and former BBC Comedy Producer, Director and Scriptwriter, Diane Messias.

Now in its third year, Social Media Week London attracts an audience of thousands, all in the quest to build brand communities, leverage audiences and learn about the latest social trends.

Co-organiser Natalie Harris said: “Driven by the success of our first event, we wanted to announce ourselves to the content community with aplomb. We’re honoured to be part of Social Media Week, which always draws in the most inquisitive, creative and tenacious bunch of sharers, engagers and influencers.”

Co-organiser Gus Ferguson also commented: “We’ve already successfully been running Online Marketing Network (OMN) events aboard the HMS President (http://www.meetup.com/Online-Marketing-London) for many months now, so it’s great to see its sister event CCC blossoming.”

The group is giving away a free bottle of bubbly on the night for one lucky content creator who makes the best use out of the #contentcreationcollective hashtag.

Tickets for this event are extremely limited so the Organisers are advising that you RSVP as soon as possible via http://www.meetup.com/Content-Creation/events/80938232/.
