PRLog - Sep. 13, 2012 - QUINCY, Mass. -- Quincy, MA --The Greater Boston Business Network (GBBN), a business-growth networking group that was formed with the goal of promoting business growth through the exchange of ideas, leads, referrals, and information, is pleased to announce that it celebrated its fifth anniversary September 2012.
Greater Boston Business Network
Over the past five years, the group has generated approximately $5 million in business for its members. The group’s approximately 25 members convene once a week to exchange referrals and ideas, work to solve their business challenges, and ultimately grow their businesses. Outside the general group meeting, members also regularly schedule one-on-one conversations over coffee, lunch, etc. to talk about their goals, shared experiences, and often plan how they can work together on mutually beneficial business-building activities.
“We founded the GBBN as a referral group that would not only help each member get business, but would also help members become better leaders and stronger business people,” said Martha Slaight, one of the group’s founders. “Each of our members is committed to helping one another through networking,”
Based just south of Boston, the professionals and business owners who make up the GBBN come from around the Boston area, and represent a wide array of industries and business categories. The group is limited to only one person from each professional specialty.
Currently, GBBN has members in the following vertical market categories:

About the Greater Boston Business Network
The GBBN is currently accepting applications for membership to join the group. We maintain a casual and light-hearted setting. Our meetings typically consist of show-and-tells, sharing of real-world case studies, educational presentations, and/or guest presenters. The latter half of the meeting is for individual meetings and sharing of leads or other information.
The Greater Boston Business Network meets every Wednesday at 7:00 a.m., currently at Realty Direct at 133 Hancock Street in North Quincy, MA. The group also meets once a quarter at Abby Park in Milton for membership-drive events and special presentations.
