In his new position, Mikelson’s responsibilities will include providing a unified vision for the retail division, standardizing how the firm conducts its practice for retail projects and offering guidance to the various Nadel offices as a mentor for the retail principals.
Mikelson will be taking over the position of retail division director from Jerry Kramer, who joined Nadel Architects in 1976 and launched the retail division in the Los Angeles office. Kramer will be retiring this October following a 36-year tenure with Nadel Architects.

He is also actively involved in the Southern Nevada chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) and is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). In addition, Mikelson is a LEED® Accredited Professional and is also registered with the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB).
