Sept. 13, 2012 - PRLog -- WHAT: Since its launch in July 2006, Twitter has been growing rapidly in popularity. With over 500 million users from Taylor Swift to Grandpa Tim and everyone in between, Twitter has become one of the most visited websites in the world! Users send out 140 characters “tweets” to share what’s happening, get in touch with family and friends, or engage with companies, celebrities, and political figures. Wednesday, September 19th, 2012 from 7:45PM-9:45PM, Joselin Mane, the man behind Boston TweetUp will indoctrinate Twitter newbies in Twitter 101: Twitter Basics at the Boston Center for Adult Education (BCAE). Mane will return the following week on Wednesday, September 26th, 2012 to kick things up a notch in Twitter 201: The Anatomy of a Tweet.
During Twitter 101 students will learn about the value of a Twitter account, how to find the best people to connect with, and the best tools to make Twitter easier to manage. Twitter 201 students will learn how to continuously gain and engage followers. They’ll even learn how Joselin crafted a tweet that stayed relevant for two weeks and continues to get visibility today.

About the Instructor: Joselin Mane runs Boston TweetUp, a social media centric event planning and promotional service. He is a passionate Internet Marketing Consultant with over 20 years of computer technology experience. With eight years of online marketing experience and ten years of Business Development experience, Joselin has acquired a powerful combination that is rarely seen in this new media market.
