Having begun her garden as “a means to relieve stress, a desire to eat healthier and ultimately to save money on my food bill,” Tish overcame many challenges, beginning with her own lack of expertise, which she remedied with research. Her garden has also been a place for her to heal from the grief of her mother’s passing, and a way to bring her community together. “I have to say, I get a little emotional when talking about my garden, because it has done so much for me, more than I ever expected,” Tish explains, “The unexpected pleasure that I experienced were the relationships it helped me build with my neighbors in our community and the opportunity to share the extra bounty of food with others. It has been a lifesaver, and I’m so grateful to Frame it All for the products that helped me to create it.”
Anthony Topping, President of Scenery Solutions/Frame It All, said, “This was our second annual Summer Vision Contest, and we were thrilled to see all the beautiful gardens people are creating from our products all over the country. We appreciate our customers and fans’ participation—
