Sept. 13, 2012 - PRLog -- Jasmine Donahaye talks to Jon Gower about her latest book, Whose People? Wales, Israel, Palestine at the Dylan Thomas Centre on Tuesday, 18 September at 7pm.

This provocative book from University of Wales Press is the first study to examine the relationship that Wales had with Palestine in the past and has with the Israel-Palestine situation in the present, and it asks probing questions about Welsh literature and self-image and Welsh attitudes to other cultures.

Jasmine Donahaye has published widely on Israel and on Welsh and Jewish literature and culture, and is also author of two collections of poetry – Self-Portrait as Ruth (Salt), which was longlisted for Wales Book of the Year, and Misappropriations (Parthian), which was shortlisted for the Jerwood Aldeburgh first collection prize.

Writer, journalist and broadcaster Jon Gower’s books include Y Storiwr, Too Cold for Snow, and Real Llanelli.
