Based on the profile of the nominations, the winners will be selected for awards under different categories including: entrepreneur of the year, social entrepreneur, serial entrepreneur, woman entrepreneur, start-up of the year, and emerging entrepreneur.
The Award Jury consists of eminent luminaries - Dr Niranjan Mardi IAS, Principal Secretary to Government, Highways and Minor Ports Department (Former Principal Secretary, Micro Small and Medium Enterprises Department), Ms Sandhya Shekhar, former CEO, IIT Madras Research Park, Mr. Venkat Subramanyam, Founder and Director, Veda Corporate Advisors Pvt Limited, Ms Aarthi Sivanandh, Partner & Co-Founder, Vichaar Partners, Dr Jayshree Suresh, Dean, School of Management, SRM University, and Mr. Murugavel Janakiraman, CEO, Consim Info Pvt Limited.
The Boston Consulting Group, as the Knowledge partner and Department of Management Studies, IIT-Madras, Venture Intelligence, and YourStory.in as Research partners will be assisting the Jury in the awards selection process.
Nominations of companies with revenue in excess of Rs. 50 cr and with a minimum of 10 years business operations will be considered as established businesses, while companies with revenue of Rs 5 Cr and above and in business for three years will be considered as emerging businesses. Companies less than 3 years will be considered as start-up businesses.
