According to Jack Bicer, TechBiz Connection president, everyone knows that search engine optimization (SEO) is a critical strategy to anyone's success on the internet. However, since 2011, both Google's Panda and Penguin have completely changed the game while eliminated old strategies and provided new strategies for success.
“In order to push the needle, it’s all about content marketing, social media signals, and analytics,” Bicer said. “This is one of our most popular events of the year because we also include live site reviews where the audience can provide live feedback on their sites by the panel.”
The session will also help provide knowledge on how to utilize content in SEO projects; how to stay competitive and active in social media; and what the best SEO practices are in today's marketing industry.
The panel moderator will be Michael Bonfils, international managing director of SEM International. Mr. Bonfils was one of the early pioneers in the search engine industry. Starting in 1996, he worked in-house for a multinational firm; in 2000-01, he was in charge of search engine strategy at Business.com. In 2001, he opened up his own firm and an office in Asia after recognizing that U.S.-based online marketing agencies needed outsourced solutions to providing services to their clients outside of the United States. As the demand for his company’s services expanded into other countries, he spread out further into Asia, Europe, and eventually Latin America. Today, SEM International (a subsidiary of International Media Management Corporation)
