America’s “Guru for Degenerates” Is a Hoot

Sufi George is a cartoon character on youtube, a bumbling, iconoclastic guru who teaches everything from blow jobs to enlightenment.

He is the creation of Phoenix AZ artist George Arthur Lareau, author of numerous books, and now, a cartoonist.

Lareau found software that makes it easy to produce animated cartoons, and he began by making a number of his published articles into cartoons.

He developed the Sufi George character into what is now an ongoing saga, in which Sufi George is elected as do-nothing president, appears on numerous TV shows “explaining” his philosophy, and otherwise promotes his books. His books are all on amazon.com.

Sufi George is politically incorrect. Not to mention rude, dirty, shocking, and depraved. It is just the right kind of guru character for degenerates, Lareau says.

Along with well-scripted humor, though, Sufi George teaches about the nature of reality according to current scientific truth. He argues against religion. He explores personal consciousness. And he promises that at the end of the path lies enlightenment.

Not too shabby for a degenerate.
