PRLog - Sep. 12, 2012 - SOLANA BEACH, Calif. -- SOLANA BEACH, CA – Gordon Training International in conjunction with Esterline Technologies and the YMCA of Greater Seattle held a Leader Effectiveness Training (L.E.T.) workshop in August, free of charge to YMCA executives and staff.

The event aimed to train leaders at the YMCA with the necessary skills to prevent, reduce and manage conflict, communicate more effectively and strengthen team-building skills by learning and using the L.E.T. skills.

Trainers, Tom Heine of Esterline and Kyle Cronk of the Clallam County YMCA, made this event possible with the generous donation of their valuable time, with materials donated by Gordon training International. Many who attended claim that the event was both satisfying and successful.

The Senior VP of the YMCA of Greater Seattle said about the workshop:

“To better serve our communities, the YMCA of Greater Seattle is committed to developing cause-driven leaders through a diverse range of training opportunities.  Thank you to Gordon Training International, Tom Heine, and Kyle Cronk for their generous donation of time and resources.  The L.E.T. experience strengthened our leaders’ problem solving, communication and conflict resolution skills.  It was an invaluable opportunity!” Jane Brenneman, Senior VP Human Resources.

Here are some additional comments from participants:

“I would highly recommend this training for supervisors of all levels at the YMCA.” Megan W., Healthy Living Director

“Fantastic!  I highly recommend this to anyone in a leadership position…it will definitely help situations get resolved.” Christina L., Administrative Director
