‘Call of the Wildman’s’ Turtleman Coming to Lebanon, Ky.

PRLog (Press Release) - Sep. 12, 2012 - Turtleman and the entire Turtle Team will be in  Lebanon, Ky., on Sat., Sept. 29, for Marion County Country Ham Days. Ernie Brown, Jr., star of the reality television show, “Call of the Wildman,” on the Animal Planet network, will be in his hometown for the Spring View Pigasus Parade beginning at 1p.m. Turtleman will hold an autograph session immediately following the parade until 7 p.m.

Known for his “Live Action” catchphrase and distinctive “Indian yell” – something he attributes to his Shawnee and Cherokee heritage – Brown has made “Call of the Wildman” one of Animal Planet’s most popular shows and has made guest appearances on “The Tonight Show,” “Anderson Cooper 360” and “The Today Show.” The show airs at 10 p.m. on Sundays.

Marion County Country Ham Days, a “Kentucky Top-Ten Event” presented by the Marion County Chamber of Commerce and held the last full weekend in September, annually serves up over 6,000 pounds of country ham. There is live music on several stages, dancing in the streets, a Battle of the Bands and amateur Karaoke contests. A Car, Truck & Motorcycle Show, arts and crafts booths, carnival rides, hay bale toss competition, children’s contests and lots of food vendors – including ice cream, fried Twinkies and funnel cake – round out the weekend fun.
