Bold and beautiful Neha Dhupia has always taken a lead amongst the celebrities who went the extra mile and used their glam power in the pursuit of noble endeavors. Neha always felt the need to work towards a greener, cleaner and sustainable environment. Amongst her numerous efforts, the year 2009 saw her shedding clothes for the Go Green calendar to spread awareness about Global Warming which took the nation by surprise. Later on in 2011 Neha Dhupia joined hands with 92.7 BIG FM and actively participated in an initiative which appealed to the citizens of India to take a unique pledge to cycle to work at least once in a week, this helped reduce vehicular pollution and was good for the overall health of the cyclist. This year on the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, we saw her active participation in a paper donation drive for the BIG Green Ganesha Campaign conceptualized by BIG FM to reinforce the importance of celebrating the festival in an environmental friendly fashion by promoting the use of Ganesha made out of paper mache. Interestingly the initiative has found support from leading celebrities including Aamir khan and Ranveer Shorey among others. All of them donated newspapers which will be used to make the paper mache idols during the festival.
