“We shot the video for "Dog From Hell" with friends and family last October but waited so long to release it because the director, Derek Suomi, felt he needed a few more shots to make it complete,” explains band namesake Damion Suomi. “Unfortunately that never happened, and our lead actor just went and sold all of his things and moved to Korea. The video was reopened a few weeks ago and was finished with what we had. It was our first attempt at a making a video and another reminder of hard it is to do these types of things with no budget. Special thank yous to Derek Suomi, Drew Hill, Rich Sullivan, Josh Gordon, Cameron Brintle, and all of friends that showed up at the bar to be a part of it. Please share it with your friends and hopefully we'll get to making another one soon.”
The band is on tour playing songs from the album Go, And Sell… plus their latest EP release, Live At Sub City Studios. One can see them this week at the EARL in Atlanta GA (9/11), The Social in Orlando FL (9/13), New World Brewery in Tampa FL (9/14) or Debauchery in Melbourne FL (9/15). The band is also hosting a live web show on Wednesday, September 12, via the web site StageIt.com. Make sure you prepare your boots for stomping, your hands for clapping, and your liver for... well you know. Damion Suomi and the Minor Prophets bring the lively grit from any Irish pub to all of their live performances.
