Operation Reach 1 Calls for Moratorium on 9/11 Foreclosure Sales of California Homes

PRLog (Press Release) - Sep. 11, 2012 - Operation Reach, a two-time congressional award winning homeowner’s advocacy company, today announced that it is calling for a moratorium on foreclosure sales in remembrance of the 9/11 attacks that struck Wall Street and the U.S. in 2001. The largest U.S. banks are among the financial institutions are currently ready to foreclose on hundreds of struggling California and US borrowers – some of whom are in the process of petitioning for aid through President Obama’s Making Home Affordable program (http://makinghomeaffordable.gov).

For struggling homeowners who are being affected by foreclosure, Operation Reach 1 is encouraging them to write to their Congressional representative to petition for a moratorium on foreclosure sales on 9/11. Homeowners can identify their Congressman or Congresswoman by visiting http://www.house.gov.

Struggling homeowners should be allowed to reflect on 9/11 with everyone else and, for at least one day, not worry about where they will be living.”
