Partnership to include joint efforts to increase ticket sales for the 2012-13 year

Indianapolis, August 20, 2012 – Get Real Sports Sales (GRSS) and Xavier University Athletics have announced a partnership for the 2012-2013 men’s basketball season. The main goal is for GRSS to increase group and season ticket sales to help fill the Cintas Center. GRSS, a results driven, outsourced ticket sales firm, will provide an on-site ticket sales staff efforts to meet GRSS and Xavier University Athletics’ ticket sales goals.

“We are excited to be working alongside Xavier University in order to plan and execute an expansive sales campaign geared towards businesses and individuals throughout southwest Ohio,” explains Jake Vernon, president of Get Real Sports Sales. “I am confident that our experienced sales staff can help Xavier expand its reach and produce positive sales results in a short period of time.”

The mission of GRSS for Xavier University is to successfully sell tickets to improve the Xavier fans’ experience. Bringing fans to the excitement of the Atlantic 10 Conference in person will create an experience to never forget. GRSS brings their expertise in ticket sales, database marketing, online sales, and sales management to every situation in order to help GRSS clients achieve and surpass their goals. GRSS helps in shaping the evolving ticketing landscape by providing a unique product that can increase GRSS client’s revenue.

Xavier University is not the first partnership with a Division 1 sports program for GRSS. Other successful collegiate partnerships include: Butler University, Wright State University, St. Bonaventure University and Loyola University. GRSS not only works with universities but also partners with professional sports organizations including: the Indianapolis Colts, Cincinnati Reds, Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Minnesota Timberwolves, and San Jose Earthquakes.

“Our partnership with Get Real Sport Sales will allow us (Xavier University) to maximize ticket sales revenue with a well executed sales campaign conducted by a proven staff of professional ticket sales team,” Brian Hicks,  Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing explained. “Get Real Sports Sales has a proven track record of success with similar sports programs and we look forward to utilizing their expertise to get more fans to experience the excitement of Xavier Athletics.”
