By: Twin Cities Community Hospital Karen Kelly, RN, Twin Cities Community Hospital Director of Medical/Surgical Unit & Perioperative Services, will speak about the warning signs and symptoms that necessitate emergency care for senior citizens. The presentation will include complimentary first aid kits for all seminar attendees, donated on behalf of the hospital. Atascadero Senior Fun Club Director Ann Fletcher says, “I am pleased Twin Cities Community Hospital will be presenting on this topic as I have heard a lot about seniors who ignore a variety of warning signs and neglect to tell anyone or call 911 for help.” Other presenters will speak about: Falling: Risk Factors and Prevention Techniques, Advance Directive & POLST: When and Why These Forms are Necessary, and NOAH: What Happens as We Age and What Requires our Attention. The Atascadero Senior Fun Club assists Amdal In-Home Care in putting on the Senior Seminar at the Colony Park Community Center, located at 5599 Traffic Way, Atascadero, California 93422.
