Sept. 11, 2012 - PRLog -- Here are a few tips so you can keep your Laser Alignment, Inc. or Leica Geosystems Beam Aligner 6770, 6775 & 6790 pipe lasers running smoothly.

You can operate the Beam Aligner 6770, 6775 or 6790 by connecting the laser to a 12 volt battery, such as a car or truck battery (12 volt VDC power cable required).  Do not run the vehicle’s engine when the cable is connected.  This can result in major damage to the laser.

The rechargeable nickel metal hybrid battery pack assembly contains six capacity NIMH Batteries.  The battery pack is enclosed assembly.  Fully charged, the battery pack will power the Beam Aligner up to 30 hours.

The battery pack must be removed from the laser to be charged using the beam aligner 100v/220v charger.  The charger plugs into the charge jack on the back of the pack.  The battery pack will reach full charge within 8 hours.

Calibration - There is no set interval for calibrating the Beam Aligner 6700, 6775 or 6790 Pipe Laser, but calibration should be checked from time to time in order to ensure that the highest possible quality of work is being done.  Calibration should be checked if the laser has been dropped or mishandled.
